About 25 minutes' drive from our park you will find Golf Course Het Rijk van Nijmegen.
Het Rijk van Nijmegen is the second largest golf course in the Netherlands with 45 holes. Relaxation and fun on the beautiful golf course near the beautiful old city of Nijmegen. Handicap 54 is already sufficient to play.
No golf experience? Golf Course Het Rijk van Nijmegen also offers various clinic options. Our reception can reserve a start time for you and, because you are staying at our park, you will receive a reduced rate.
Nature reserve De Kraaijenbergse Plassen
The Kraaijenbergse Plassen consists of several lakes surrounded by fine beaches. The nature reserve is a popular recreation and water sports area that you can explore by boat, canoe or surfboard. Do you prefer diving in the underwater world? Diving is also possible here! Moreover, the area is popular with cyclists and hikers and there are several routes mapped out.
Castle Heeswijk
Heeswijk Castle is prominently located in the brook valley of the Aa near Den Bosch, the impressive center of the Heeswijk Estate. From here the lords of Heeswijk-Dinther managed their domain. The last owners, barons Van den Bogaerde van Terbrugge, were attached to the Royal Family. Now the castle is a museum. Heeswijk Castle presents activities for all ages and interests. Mookerheide
Vast heathlands, beautiful forests and a rich history characterize the Mookerheide nature reserve. There was a lot of fighting here during the Second World War, but also in the Eighty Years' War this was a true battlefield. You will find two entrenchments, defensive structures from which you could see the enemy coming from afar. Nowadays you can mainly enjoy the peace and quiet on foot or by bike. Keep your ears open, because Different species of woodpeckers make their sounds here. In the evening you can hear the nightjar.
